The Last of Us (2023) is produced by HBO and adapted from the PlayStation game of the same name released by Naughty Dog on June 14, 2013. The story is set twenty years after the collapse of modern civilization, where humans are facing the crisis of extinction due to a modern epidemic. Middle-aged smuggler Joel (Pedro Pascal) embarks on a journey with 14-year-old girl Ellie (Bella Ramsey) to fulfill the mission entrusted by the leader of the Firefly organization, Marlene (Melissa McBride), to leave the quarantine zone protected by the army, and cross the ruins of the metropolis transformed into a jungle.
